1. «Feofilakt Lopatinsky and Feofan Prokopovich as Possible Editors of Mavro Orbini’s ‘The Kingdom of the Slavs’ translation»

Abstract: In 1722, in the printing house of St. Petersburg a translation of the Croatian priest’s Mavro Orbini book «The Kingdom of the Slavs» was published. It was carried out by the Serb Savva Lukich Raguzinsky, who was close to the tsar. Raguzinsky’s translation is based on Church Slavonic, but the text was edited before printing. Feofilakt Lopatinsky and Feofan Prokopovich acted as possible editors, but so far, none of the previous researchers have been able to establish who exactly was the editor. This article attempts to identify the editor of the translation of Mavro Orbini’s text using the method of linguistic analysis.

2. «The Role of Modified Phraseological Units in Creating Creolized Advertising Text»

Abstract: The research is aimed at considering the mechanisms of creolization of the advertising text. The analysis of the role of modified phraseological units in the creation of a creolized advertising text is presented. The results obtained make it possible to say that the modified phraseological units in combination with the iconic part make advertising bright, imaginative, original, memorable and effective.

3. «Return of the Amurer»

Abstract: The article examines modern editions of the remarkable satirist of Amur region of the first two decades of the 20th century, Fyodor Chudakov, prepared by Professor of the Blagoveshchensk Pedagogical University Anatoly Urmanov. Chudakov’s name and work were forgotten for a whole century, while in terms of his creative abilities he is quite comparable with the most prominent figures of the «Satyricon». Therefore, his contemporaries called him the Amur Sasha Cherny. The article also describes the fate of Chudakov, as well as the role that the scientific research of A.V. Urmanov plays in restoring the creative reputation of forgotten artists of the Amur region.

4. «The Space of Faith: Hierarchy of Loci in K.K. Sluchevsky’s ‘Afterlife Songs’»

Abstract: This article is dedicated to the work of K.K. Sluchevsky and provides a comprehensive analysis of his poetic book «Afterlife Songs». The main objective of the study is to investigate the hierarchy of loci and determine the role of the «space of faith» in this work. The lexicon, metaphors, and stylistic devices employed by the author to form the «space» of the afterlife are analyzed. The structure of the «space of faith» in «Afterlife Songs» is reconstructed. Attention is focused on the peculiarities of the composition and narrative structure of the work, which characterizes the uniqueness of Sluchevsky’s construction of the poetic text. The study contributes to the exploration of this poetic book by offering a new interpretation.

5. «Pictorial Ekphrasis in ‘Notes on Art Exhibitions’ and Stories by V.M. Garshin»

Abstract: The article is devoted to pictorial ekphrasis in «Notes on Art Exhibitions» and the stories by V.M. Garshin, its functions and features, as well as consideration of ekphrasis as a plot-forming device. The article pays enough attention to the theoretical side of the issue, namely, the separation of the concept of «ekphrasis» from other related terms and from «imaginary ekphrasis». We give a detailed description of ekphrasis in «Notes…» and the stories: «Artists» and «Nadezhda Nikolaevna»; we analyze the connection between this technique and the problems of the works of V.M. Garshin.

Abstract: The article is devoted to the organization of multilingual education in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), where the state Russian language, native languages and a foreign language are simultaneously studied in the school space. The specifics of the Sakha Republic lie not only in the need for high-quality teaching of Russian or Yakut languages, but also in the need to preserve the child’s native language: Even, Evenki, Yukaghir, Dolgan, Chukchi, which affects the creation of variants of a multilingual model of multicultural education faced by school teachers. At the same time, the specifics of the organization of multilingual education are beyond doubt: this type of school creates a unique language landscape in the republic. The paper describes the models of organization of multilingual schools and kindergartens, analyzes their differences and presents the specifics of language education in the republic.

7. «A.P. Chekhov’s Story ‘Surgery’ As a Teaching Tool Structural And Semantic Organization of Speech»

Abstract: The article demonstrates the experience of using semantic structure of the text to develop coherent speech among schoolchildren. The principles of teaching the structural and semantic organization of speech in rhetoric lessons are highlighted: taking into account the students’ level of proficiency in the textual organization of speech; reliance on structural (semantic, thematic, interphrase) features of the statement; the use of constructive schemes of semantic organization of text in speech; taking into account the features of the thematic structure of the statement; control over the use of interphrase communication means in speech. An example of an algorithm for implementing these principles is given, a representative sample of statements is analyzed, confirming their effectiveness.

8. «Innovative Methodology of the Original Dictionary (Review)»

Abstract: The review highlights the extraordinary, innovative nature of the dictionary, edited by Veronika N. Telia. As a result of many years of scrupulous research, the team of authors of this dictionary has managed to create an unprecedented lexicographic edition that provides a large-format representation of the phraseology of the modern Russian language in the totality of its meanings, contextual use and cultural commentary, explicating the life-giving connection between the national cultural source and the implicit meaning of the phraseological sign, which provides propositional models of natural communication.
